FAQ

FAQ

Q: I have adopted one of your Rottweiler babies and was emailed a Care Sheet?
A: Our Care Sheet gives you much of the information you will need when you receive your new baby puppy, it is very important that you familiarise yourself with the Care Sheet. It contains information such as what food we recommend you buy, so you actually have something to feed your puppy when they arrive.
That you don’t over exercise it and many other helpful suggestions.

Q: How long have you been breeding for?
A: We have been registered breeders since 1987. My association with these wonderful companions runs deep, beginning with my Grandfather, who bred and owned Rottweilers more than 70 years ago. My Uncle also Bred and successfully showed Rottweilers in Germany for many years as well. We are self confessed animal nuts and our babies are everything to us.

We have been RSPCA Inspected and registered with our local council. In the over 36 years that we have been registered breeders, we never had a single substantiated complaint against us. For further piece of mind, I suggest you contact MDBA to verify you are dealing with a registered breeder and not some backyard breeder.

Q: Can I visit & pick my own pup?
A: You are more than welcome to collect your puppy locally from us, but to be upfront, with the risk posed by Bio-Security issues we do not permit anyone to visit our babies in person, due to the risks posed by Parvo and other infectious diseases, we will not Jeopardise the safety or health or our babies under any circumstance. Like most reputable breeders, we match the pup to its new family anyway. Most reputable breeders will not allow people to come out due to bio-security concerns and you should be concerned with any so-called breeder that allows anyone to trape from one breeder to another spreading possible diseases

Q: Do you have any puppies currently available for adoption?
A: As we only do this as our hobby and for the love of our dogs, we only ever have very limited and irregular litters. So best to email us and confirm if we have any puppies available. That way I can let you know when we are planning to have a litter. Most puppies are already pre-booked and in most cases we do have a waiting list.

Q: How do I adopt one of your companions?
A: Just contact me and I can organise everything.

Q: Do you provide regular photos of pups once we have purchased one?
A: We send the first pictures around 3-4 weeks when their eyes are open and they can sit up. Then final photos at 6 weeks. I appreciate some people would like photos more often, but sadly it is not practical as our main concern is to look after the pups and not to spend hours trying to get that perfect photo.

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: Yes, once you decide on your new family member, I require a deposit so as to hold the puppy for you. Of course the deposit is deducted from the cost of the puppy. All deposits are firm.

Q: I have changed my mind & now don’t wish to buy the puppy.
A: Unfortunately we do not refund deposits, the deposit is to secure your puppy, once that happens; we no longer offer the pup for adoption and therefore turn other people way. I can hold the deposit and place it on another adoption in the future.

Q: I Live interstate, what can I do.
A: No Problem, I have organised transport all over Australia including Overseas, I can help organise everything, of course at buyers expense.

Q: I am uncertain about certain issues, what should I do?
A: Any queries or questions please contact me, I will do my utmost to help you.

Q: Can I buy my new puppy entire, (not de-sexed).
A: All our pups are De-sexed, as we wish to avoid them going to live in a Puppy Farm environment.

Q: Can we make an agreement verbally?
A: No, everything we agree to must be in writing.
